While Minoan Ceramics tend to be treated as being not quite "greek" they are just as "hellenic" as Cycladic or Helladic ceramics. They share the same characteristics of balanced functional forms and geometric decoration. 

But you say its got spirals!

Yes but those spirals are the ancestors of the meander patterns of later art and note the geometry and symmetry! So Hellenic!
